La secretaria de Educación Pública (SEP), Delfina Gómez, dio a conocer que en noviembre espera que todos los estudiantes de educación básica regresen a las clases presenciales.
Lo anterior argumentó se espera llevar a cabo gracias que en lo que va del ciclo escolar 2021-2022 no se han dado casos de rebrotes importantes de Covid-19, además de que se de atención a la continuidad de la educación de los menores.
Así la SEP sostuvo que se espera que en un mes toda la población de alumnos en México regrese a las aulas. Destacó además que entre el 95 y el 97 por ciento de los alumnos en México se mantienen trabajando de manera presencial o a través del programa Aprende en Casa.
En este sentido la titular de la SEP reconoció el trabajo de los padres de familia, maestras y maestros, así como de los directivos de la escuela, a quienes calificó como piezas importantes en la prevención de los contagios por Covid-19.
Lo anterior fue mencionado durante el evento de conmemoración de los 100 años de la SEP, donde se remarcó que las maestras y maestros atenderán el llamado de educar al pueblo de México, en un contexto en el que la actual administración tiene como objetivo educar a los más necesitados.
“Estoy segura que, así como hace un siglo, cuando las maestras y los maestros acudieron con fervor al llamado de Vasconcelos, hoy lo harán para educar a nuestro pueblo más necesitado2.
Aseguraron así que la SEP trabajará para que los niños de las comunidades marginadas del país logren alcanzar una vida digna, con paz y bienestar, a tiempo que la dependencia de educación atenderá a cada menor que quiera y necesite estudiar.
“Porque es tiempo de cumplirle a los más desprotegidos y a quienes fueron marginados y olvidados por décadas”.
