Al menos 15 personas perdieron la vida calcinadas luego de que un camión de carga los impactara al quedarse sin frenos en la autopista México-Puebla.
De acuerdo con información de la Fiscalía General del Estado de México (FGJEM) el conductor supuestamente perdió el control y se vertieron bidones de más de 200 litros de un líquido blanco inflamable que pronto provocó una pequeña explosión y grandes llamas, causando la muerte de 15 personas.
El camión no pudo detenerse al llegar a la caseta de cobro San Marcos Huixtoco e impactó varios vehículos particulares que se encontraban formados para realizar el pago del peaje.
Adrián Chávez, subdirector de Bomberos de Chalco, indicó que además hay cinco heridos. Añadió que el camión de carga transportaba pegamento textil.
Cinco de los heridos responden a los hombres de Alonso Mejía Huitrón de 39 años; Francisco Acuña García 58 años; Eva Contreras Álvarez de 17 años; Enrique Moctezuma López de 68 años e Iris Palau López de 47 años de edad, de acuerdo con La Octava.
Mientras que Protección Civil del Estado de México señaló que hubo 12 vehículos involucrados en el accidente.
