Trump amenaza con “aniquilar” Irán en una hora y alardea de su campaña militar

El presidente de EE.UU., Donald Trump, declaró que su ejército podría “aniquilar” Irán en cuestión de una hora, asegurando que el país persa ha perdido gran parte de sus capacidades militares, incluyendo su armada y defensa aérea. “Podríamos hacerles algo mucho peor. Literalmente, nunca podrían reconstruir ese país”, afirmó a la prensa, insistiendo en que la ofensiva avanza “más rápido de lo planeado”.

El secretario de Guerra, Pete Hegseth, secundó estas declaraciones asegurando que Washington “está ganando” gracias a un enfoque “implacable”, mientras que Irán es “abandonado” por sus aliados.

La resistencia de Teherán

Sin embargo, Irán desmiente categóricamente estas afirmaciones. El Cuerpo de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica (CGRI) aseguró haber lanzado la operación Promesa Verdadera 4, impactando con misiles una base estadounidense en la región y causando bajas. Según Teherán, un número importante de soldados estadounidenses murieron y más de un centenar resultaron heridos en el ataque.

Las autoridades iraníes advierten que el conflicto no terminará por orden de Washington. El ministro de Exteriores, Abbas Araghchi, señaló que los planes de EE.UU. e Israel han fracasado, evidenciando “caos” en sus estrategias y declaraciones. Teherán afirma tener suficiente arsenal misilístico y haber modificado su táctica para “castigar” a los responsables de la agresión, que cobró la vida del ayatolá Alí Jameneí a finales de febrero.
