Elecciones en Michoacán tuvieron participación de cerca del 50% del electorado

En total poco más de un millón y medio de michoacanas y michoacanas salieron a las urnas a ejercer su derecho al voto.

 

Morelia, Michoacán.- Durante esta jornada electoral en Michoacán, se registró una participación ciudadana del 49.4 por ciento, de acuerdo a los datos expuestos por el Programa de Resultados Electorales Preliminares en la entidad.

Esto supone una participación de un millón 516 mil 705 michoacanas y michoacanas que este domingo seis de junio salieron a las urnas a expresar su voluntad mediante el voto popular.

De este total de votos, un millón 461 mil 112 fueron recibidos en urnas físicas por parte de ciudadanos que acudieron presencialmente a votar, mientras que mil 536 fueron emitidos desde el extranjero, ya sea mediante internet o mediante correo tradicional.

Por su parte, del total de votos 53 mil 105 fueron nulos, ya que no pudo identificarse una clara intención del voto a favor de ninguno de los candidatos registrados o no registrados.

De igual forma fueron 15 mil 241 votos los que se recibieron a través de las casillas especiales que fueron instaladas en Michoacán.

Cabe señalar que durante esta votación intermedia se registró una menor participación ciudadana ya que durante 2015, cuando se votó por gobernador, cuando participó el 54 por ciento de las michoacanas y michoacanos.

Esto equivale a un millón 762 mil 426 votos, es decir, 245 mil 721 votos más que durante la elección de este domingo seis de junio de 2021.
