Morelia, Michoacán.- La candidata a la presidencia municipal de Cuitzeo, por Movimiento de Regeneración Nacional (Morena) y Partido del Trabajo (PT), Rosa Elia Milán Pintor, recibió amenaza previo a que ella y su familia, fueran blanco de un atentado a balazos ocurrido la noche del pasado domingo.
La aspirante y sus familiares ingresaban a la cabecera municipal de Cuitzeo, provenientes de la localidad de Mariano Escobedo, cuando fueron atacados con armas de fuego por los tripulantes de una motocicleta y un auto compacto.
Resultado de la embestida, el esposo de Rosa Elia Milán fue lesionado y requirió traslado a un hospital, donde aún recibe atención médica debido a su grave estado de salud.
Francisco Díaz Rodríguez, candidato a síndico por Morena – PT, reveló que dos meses atrás, la candidata recibió una llamada telefónica intimidatoria a la que no prestó mayor atención.
“Únicamente escuchó y colgó el teléfono e hizo caso omiso. Me lo comentó, hay la confianza con ella (para hablarlo), pero no hicimos caso”, indicó el integrante de la planilla de Morena y PT propuesta para Cuitzeo.
Díaz Rodríguez señaló que nunca se había suscitado una agresión de esta naturaleza en su municipio; “no sabemos qué está pasando, pedimos seguridad no solamente para la candidata, sino para toda la gente que saldrá a votar y para que haya unas elecciones bien, en forma y que no haya ningún tipo de acto de violencia”.
El aspirante a sindico de Cuitzeo, dijo que no tienen certeza de quién está detrás de la agresión, pero aseguró que se relaciona a la contienda electoral, pues dijo, van a la cabeza en las preferencias.
Sobre este atentado, la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública (SSP) informó que detuvo a un hombre presuntamente involucrado que fue puesto a disposición de las autoridades competentes, y quien se encontraba en posesión de un envoltorio con metanfetamina al momento de su detención.
