Morelia, Michoacán.- De resultar ganadora como próxima alcaldesa de Morelia, en seis meses pondré orden y afrontaré las causas de la crisis medio ambiental por la que atraviesa Morelia, se comprometió Marx Aguirre, candidata del Partido Verde Ecologista de México rumbo a la alcaldía de Morelia.
En entrevista con los medios de comunicación señaló que la serie de incendios que se han registrado en el municipio tiene una serie de causas localizadas y plenamente identificadas que no han logrado ser atendidas.
Y es que dijo, el cambio de uso de suelo, ya sea para fines de cultivo y de desarrollo urbano han generado impactos monumentales a la ecología moreliana, por lo que es indispensable actuar al respecto.
Si bien reconoció que las autoridades municipales no tienen facultades para hacer frente a los fraccionados ni a los trabajadores del campo, dijo, en caso de ganar promoverá una modificación al Ordenamiento Territorial del Municipio de Morelia, para incluir las actividades ecológicas dentro del marco de actuación de las autoridades municipales.
Indispensable el fortalecimiento de bomberos
Por otro lado expuso, actualmente el cuerpo de bomberos actúa bajo condiciones laborales que son inaceptables, lo que también en gran medida repercute en su actuar.
Y es que recordó que actualmente el cuerpo de bomberos opera únicamente por cooperaciones voluntarias, por lo que enfatizó, es indispensable darles un salario y así poder actuar de una forma más metódica y efectiva de frente a una emergencia de esta naturaleza.
“Hay que fortalecer a los bomberos mediante convenios, mediante la significación de su labor y entrega de salarios”, expuso.
Por último reconoció que el tema medio ambiental es muy rentable políticamente, sin embargo dijo, para ser efectivo es urgente dejar de politizar el tema y realmente tomar cartas en el asunto y así hacer frente a la crisis medio ambiental por la que atraviesa Morelia.
