Sheinbaum hace historia al integrarse a la lista de los 67 más elegantes del mundo

La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, ha marcado un hito al convertirse en la única jefa de Estado en funciones incluida en la prestigiosa lista de “personas más elegantes del mundo” publicada por el diario estadounidense The New York Times. Entre 67 nombres seleccionados, su presencia destaca por replantear la idea de estilo, no solo como moda o fama, sino como una extensión del poder, el simbolismo y la acción pública.

El New York Times resalta cómo Sheinbaum ha incorporado de manera constante prendas bordadas relacionadas con comunidades indígenas, transformándolas en un sello distintivo de su imagen durante el primer año de su mandato. Esta elección no solo refleja un gusto personal, sino un compromiso con la visibilidad y el reconocimiento cultural de México.

Asimismo, su administración ha impulsado medidas para proteger los diseños indígenas frente a las casas de moda acusadas de apropiación, convirtiendo la vestimenta en un espacio de defensa y respeto cultural.

La lista, que mezcla moda y poder, también incluye figuras inesperadas y cercanas al liderazgo global, como el papa León XIV, quien aparece combinando vestimentas tradicionales con una gorra de los Chicago White Sox, demostrando que el estilo puede ser un lenguaje simbólico y político.
